We Wish You A Merry Christmas....

It's Christmas time!!!
Ok, so Christmas is in... 4 days?!! Thats crazy! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by!
Well since I'm bored at work, I'm just going to entertain myself with this post and list some top 5 things of Christmas.....

Top 5 Christmas movies:

5. Miracle on 34th Street- The newest one

Ok, so my mom watches this movie every Thanksgiving and we love it!

4. A Christmas Story

Who DOESN'T love this movie?!

3. The Grinch- Jim Carrey style!

I think the casting for this movie was fantastic!

2. Elf

Um... Will Farrells best movie, hands down!

And the best Christmas movie of all time......
1. A White Christmas

Picture my mom dancing and singing "Sisters, Sisters"... And thats all you really need to know!

Hmmm.... The top 5 things I would like to recieve this Christmas? Not that I need them persay but since the tradition is to ask and recieve....

5- Hot Rod the movie
Um... my new favorite movie! And I have looked EVERYWHERE for it! People keep telling me that it's in the $3 bins at Walmart... But I think they're lying because I've never been able to find
$3 dollar bins at Walmart!

4- Clothes
Everyone wants clothes for Christmas, don't they? Especially when they're mom actually has the same if not better fashion sense?!

3- Boots!!
Ok, so I've probably put in other posts that I just bought two pairs of boots and this is true... but they're not dressy. I want dressy boots with a cute dress to wear them with!

2- A new camera
I swear, my camera is from the dinosaur ages! Ok, so I got it... 4 years ago but in technology, thats pretty old. Plus I want a bright colored one like pink or purple or blue or orange!

1-A Kitchen Aide
Well, I know I'm a little young for a kitchen aide... but I LOVE to bake with my moms!
They're amazing!
And I want a pink one! (Of course I want a pink one!)
Well... they are a little expensive I guess... so I told my parents that they could get me
that for my wedding if I ever get married or my 25th birthday if not!
(They don't know about the 25th birthday part yet!)

So...
My amazing brother in law, Ben, decided to throw his wife Emilee a surprise 30th birthday party. Now, for most people, they would rather die than have a 30th birthday party, just because they think 30 is old. (It's really the new 20 people, so get over it!)
Anyway, it's a different situation with my sister. None of us knew if she would ever live to see 30. The life expectancy for Cystic Fibrosis patients is barely 30 so the fact that she has made it this far is truly amazing. So, not only did Ben throw her a party, have it catered, invite up to like 100 of Em's friends and family (75 of which showed up), he wanted the present we give her to be kind of a letter... One that told her our favorite memory of her and how she has influenced our lives. How am I supposed to do that? How can words even describe how much she means to me and how much I love her?
Anyway Em, hopefully I'll be able to finish like the... 7 different drafts I've started by your real birthday!

Well, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and I hope people remember the real reason for the holiday. A lot of time I  have to stop and remind myself that even though I have hard times, other people have it harder and I need to give. We all need to give.
Happy Holidays!

Never Gonna Be Alone

Once there was this girl who needed a break.
So she and her best friend decided to go on a road trip.
Where did they end up going, you ask....
.... Blanding, Ut?
Thats right!
Blanding, Ut. A little town of about 3,000 people. Reminded me a little of bit of... Mt. Pleasant maybe?
Anyway, it was SO much fun!
Who knew you could have such fun in a small town?
Here's some pics from the trip......

I love these guys!
Thanks for a much needed, great weekend!

Anyway, Christmas is a week from tomorrow!!!
Anyone else as excited as I am?!

This song has been stuck in my head the past couple of days.....

"Never Gonna Be Alone"

Time, is going by, so much faster than I,
And I'm starting to regret not spending all of it with you.
Now I'm, wondering why, I've kept this bottled inside,
So I'm starting to regret not telling all of this to you.
So if I haven't yet, I've gotta let you know...

Never gonna be alone!
From this moment on, if you ever feel like letting go,
I won't let you fall...
Never gonna be alone!
I'll hold you 'til the hurt is gone.

And now, as long as I can, I'm holding on with both hands,
'Cause forever I believe that there's nothing I could need but you,
So if I haven't yet, I've gotta let you know...

Never gonna be alone!
From this moment on, if you ever feel like letting go,
I won't let you fall.
When all hope is gone, I know that you can carry on.

We're gonna see the world out,
I'll hold you 'til the hurt is gone.

Oh!
You've gotta live every single day,
Like it's the only one, what if tomorrow never comes?
Don't let it slip away,
Could be our only one, you know it's only just begun.
Every single day,
Maybe our only one, what if tomorrow never comes?
Tomorrow never comes...

Time, is going by, so much faster than I,
And I'm starting to regret not telling all of this to you.

I'm gonna be there always,
I won't be missing one more day,
I'm gonna be there always,
I won't be missing one more day.

*Change*

Ok, so I'm on a HUGE Carrie Underwood kick lately.

Who wouldn't be?
Every time I see her perform, I seriously want to cry because it's so amazing.
It reminds me of how much I wanted to be where she is, when I was growing up. And secretly, I still do!
I mean, having that kind of voice and being able to be on stage and sing to millions of people... it's honestly like a fairytale for me!

Anyway, so last night she did a holiday special on Fox 13. With all of us being
Carrie Underwood fans in our apartment, we piled in the front room to watch it.

As always, her voice was flawless the whole night! She sang a lot of songs off her new album, which I think I mentioned in an earlier post how amazing it is!
The last song she sang, really hit me.
It was a song called "Change" and it's all about what are you going to do to change the world?

See, lately I've really been thinking about how I can bring more of the spirit into my life.
I've been thinking about areas I can do better and ways that I can bless other peoples lives.
When I got set apart for my calling, I was told that there are many people who I will have an oppertunity to change their lives, without even knowing.
How big is that?
I am going to be responsible for changing someone's life.
So I asked myself: Do I want to change their life for worse? Or for better?
It's funny because when I am home, I am trying harder to be aware of how I act and the example I am, because I know that I have neices and nephews that are watching me, and doing things that I do. One in particular that pays attention and she asks me questions about things I do, that I don't even pay attention to!
But when I come back up here, it's strange to me, to think that someone is watching me
for a reason other than to judge.

So in my attempt to bring more of the Spirit into my life, especially around this holiday season,
I've been trying to do more for other people.
Donating money to charities, doing small things that I see people are in need of and I have a real problem with spending money on people. Buying them dinner, food, movies, presents... whatever.
But it still doesn't seem like I'm doing enough.
My Bishop suggested things like : Deliver " Sub For Santa" gifts or
volunteer at the Food and Care Collition in Provo, volunteer at a home for
abused women by my apartment... The thing is, I don't want to do it alone and not very many people have the time to come with me. Not to mention I work from 9-5 and not everything is open
or available to help with after 5.
I guess I'll keep doing the things I'm doing and add in nightly Christmasy things like movies, music, Christmas stories, baking Christmas goodies....

Ok, so here are the lyrics to Carrie's song "Change"
I honestly challenge each of you to read the words and actually think about them and think about what you have been doing this year/ holiday season to change the world or someone's life.

* CHANGE*
What you gonna do with the 36 cents Sticky with coke on your floorboard?
When a woman on the street is huddled in the cold
On a sidewalk bench trying to keep warm.
Do you call her over, hand her the change
Ask her her story, ask her her name?
Or do you tell yourself?

"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"
Don't listen to them when they say,
"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"
Oh, the smallest thing can make all the difference,
Love is alive, don't listen to them when they say,
"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"

What you gonna do when you're watching TV
And an ad comes on, yeah, you know the kind...
Flashing up pictures of a child in need
For a dime a day, you could save a life.
Do you call the number, reach out a hand
Or do you change the channel, call it a scam?
Do you tell yourself?

"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"
Don't listen to them when they say,
"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"
Oh, the smallest thing can make all the difference,
Love is alive, don't listen to them when they say,
"You're just a fool, just a fool to believe you can change the world"

The world's so big, it can break your heart.
And you just want to help, not sure where to start.
So you close your eyes,
And send up a prayer into the dark.

I'm dreaming of a "WHITE CHRISTMAS"- Bing Crosby syle!!

Well, it must be that time of year.
The time of year where I wake up with a sore throat, stuffy nose and a headache.
*Sigh*
There isn't even snow on the ground! How sad is that for Decemeber?
Hopefully this is just my body's way of gearing up for tax season... Telling me I need to take care of myself because it's an unwritten rule- No time off during tax season.
Good thing it's Friday and I'm planning to sleep all day tomorrow!
*yay*
Ok... so here are a few things I am dreaming of as I sit here, alone at work:

Yes, I am dreaming of snow. Snow covered roads, houses, lights... watching the snow fall while inside by the fire, in my pj's with hot apple cider!

The boots I bought on sale recently... that haven't come yet! I can't wait till they get here!! Aren't they SO cute?!!

Ok, so I'm a sucker for the Jacksons! I'm super excited about their new mini series on A&E and for their new album to come out! I love these guys!

I'm way stoaked to see this movie! I love both Robert Pattinson and Emile De Ravin so it should be SO good! Plus, like his friend in the movie says "Thats why chicks dig you man. They love this freaky, poetic crap"... Yeah, I'm totally into the freaky poetic crap in guys! Oh AND did I mention Pierce Brosnan is in it?! Yeah, lots of hotties!

And one last thing I'm day dreaming of today.....

Yeah, 40 and still sexy!!!

So, back in High School, I was kind of a nerd.
Well, not a nerd in popularity terms, but I LOVED reading and writing and all that stuff.
I still do.
A Tale Of Two Cities is one of my favorite books that I read back then. Well, the other night as Kourtney and I were flipping through the channels, we came across the musical. We loved it!
I just love the story and how Sydney Carton gives everything for the woman he loves.
Well, then we got the idea to watch the movie Les Miserables... the one with Liam Nesson... last night.
Kourtney owns it and I had never seen it or the musical but I loved it!

These writers in the olden days were inspired! I mean, writers now days like Stephanie Meyer or Dan Brown are inspired but not like Charles Dickens, Nathaniel Hawthorne, George Bernard Shaw, F. Scott Fitzgerald (Who, wrote my all time favorite book "The Great Gatsby") or John Steinbeck, Harper Lee, Victor Hugo or Emily Bronte....
They're all so amazing!
I guess I'm just in the mood to be cultured lately!
Oh, and I'm in the mood to go shopping. Lots and Lots of shopping. Too bad I'm a responsible adult with a car payment now....
Ok, so I love it!

Um... this is exciting....

In case you can't read it... it says 12:12 AM.
Thats right... my roommates and I (and Ben) are going to be partying with the screaming little girls until all hours of the night. While all the little ones will be screaming for Jacob... I will stay true to Edward!

Also, this is much excitement as well....

Looks like it is going to be a full night of Vampire-ness for me and I think I'm ok with that!
I wonder if it will top last night though... 1 Really cute boy + Me= Awesome date!
I guess it helps that he reminds me of Jim on "The Office" and says things like "This is the nector of the God's" (about every food and or drink in sight) and  "That's Jewish"...
Pretty sure that one is my favorite. So, good food, lots of laughs and really nice guy
all equal a great Wednesday night!

Life is beautiful- Vega 4
Life is beautiful,

We love until we die
When you run into my arms,
We steal a perfect moment.
Let the monsters see you smile,
Let them see you smiling.
Do I hold you too tightly?
When will the hurt kick in?
Life is beautiful, but it's complicated.
We barely make it.
We don't need to understand,
There are miracles, miracles.
Yeah, life is beautiful.
Our hearts, they beat and break.
When you run away from harm,
Will you run back into my arms,
Like you did when you were young?
Will you come back to me?
I will hold you tightly
When the hurting kicks in.
Life is beautiful, but it's complicated,
we barely make it.
We don't need to understand,
There are miracles, miracles.
Stand where you are.
We let all these moments pass us by.
It's amazing where I'm standing,
There's a lot that we can give.
This is ours just for a moment.
There's a lot that we can give.

Jesus, Take The Wheel

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was so scared
She threw her hands up in the air

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

Oh I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Oh take it take it from me
Oh

Yes, this is how I feel today. Most days, I'm ok. But I'm struggling... I have been for some time. I try to hide it. I try to fix this on my own. But sometimes I feel like someone or something else just takes over me and I can't control it. It scares me. I realized last night I can't fix this on my own. I just need to put it in his hands because I can't do it by myself anymore.

On a much happier note, I got extensions! I LOVE them!

And I DO look a little high in the picture below because I am retarded and I can't keep my eyes open for the life of me when I take pictures... but we went to Applebee's karoke last night with a group of people and it was SO fun! So here's a picture of the girls! :)

Me, April, Meg and Kourtney
I LOVE these girls!

Love Song Requiem

Um... So this movie is UH-MAZ-ING!

Being a big fan of Michaels, I have been dying to see this movie! Kourtney and I FINALLY found a time that we could both go. I didn't know what to expect from this movie. I didn't want to look anything up about it, other than some reviews, for fear of ruining it for me. Well... as Josh says "Let me tell you how it ends... he dies". Thanks for your sensitivity to the subject, you buttface miscreant!

Well it turns out that this movie is all about the preparation, planning and rehersals for his upcoming concert tour! He was making a documentary for his own collection to be able to remember how awesome this experience was going to be. There are interviews with the dancers, the band, the tour director... everyone. It was so amazing to see how hard working Michael is and how insistant he is on working with his dancers to make sure they get all the help they need and how he wants to be involved in every aspect of the tour. It is especially apparent during certain parts of the movie, how much Michael cares about the enviorment and people of the world.... He truly was an amazing guy!

Some people are choosing to look at this with the glass half empty but I, I'm choosing to look at the glass half full. Despite maybe some wrongdoings, he really was an inspiring man and I for one, am extremely glad that he left us with this one last look into how much he truly loved music and dancing and the world. Oh and P.S... Kenny Ortega is a genius!

Now onto the recents in my extremely exciting life....

- 4 things that occur regularly, that I look forward to most during the week: One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, Community and White Collar! Yes, I am sad... Don't mock! Of course... it doesn't have anything at all to do with the hot guys cast in these shows... right? ;>

- Currently going through a "Blueberry Morning" phase. For some reason, I have aquired a taste for that cereal and actually wake up, craving it. Hmmm... weird.

- Excited about getting back into writing. I've been inspired lately and writing really helps me relax... hopefully it keeps up!

- Hoping to get into the Holiday spirit by starting Christmas Music early this year... I'm driving my co-workers nuts!

- Trying to get this "Budget" thing down. It sucks... but at least I have a new car! :)

- Get to see my Sky Sky tonight! It's been literally... like 4-ish months! I'm SUPER excited!

- Been cooking a lot lately! Used my George Foreman grill for the first time last night! I feel so domestic!

- Getting the windows in my Mazda 3 tinted next week! Wahoo!!!

- Really wanting to meet a tall, dark, mysterious/ brooding, beautiful boy SOON. We'll see how that works out....

Ok... Maybe something MORE exciting will happen soon. I'm actually kind of ok with life being on the down low right now. It means, no drama... no worries... time to do the things I love, with the people I love... time to myself to make sure I'm on the right track and doing the things I need to be doing...

You know what my favorite thing is? I LOVE getting off work as the sun is going down, going home to a clean room, lighting a candle I bought that reminds me of my parents home, turning some amazing music on and writing... or reading. Just for an hour or so. It draws me to a place of comfort. A safe haven that broadens my prespective and calms me. Who knew that something so simple could do that?! And thinking about it now... that was my safe haven in high school as well.
 Fancy that!

So the title of this post is an AMAZING song. "Love Song Requiem"- Trading Yesterday. It really speaks to me lately. The lyrics are just so tragic yet so romantic.

Emily will find a better place to fall asleep
She belongs to fairy tales that I could never be

The future haunts with memories that I could never have
And hope is just a stranger wondering how it got so bad

I die each time you look away
My heart, my life will never be the same
This love will take my everything
One breath, one touch will be the end of me

You could be the final straw that brings me back to earth
Ever-waiting airports full of the love that you deserve

Wishing I could find a way to wash away the past
Knowing that my heart will break,
At least the pain will last

I die each time you look away
My heart, my life will never be the same
This love will take my everything
One breath, one touch will be the end of me

Emily will find a better place to fall asleep
Maybe she will save me in the oceans of her dream
And maybe someday love
Maybe someday love
Maybe someday love

What Can I Say

And the Winner is...........

A 2008 Jet Black, Mazda 3 i touring edition!
This car is amazing!

Kind of wish it had a fin but hey, I STILL love it SO much!

I love the look of the inside with the black/ tan interior. And it's features are loaded!

After a long day of waking up early and hitting many places looking for Honda Civics, I decided to expand my horizons and look at some cars that had almost as good of value as Hondas, but that were cheaper. My dad and I test drove a sliver 2007 Mazda 3 but I had never driven one before so we couldn't really decide if it was running good or not. I was really hesitant.

No body could figure out why I just wasn't excited about getting a new car. Even with the prospect of this silver Mazda looking at me... It just didn't feel right. Then.... a miracle happened!

My brother in law Ben called and he and Em had been looking online for some good deals and they found a dealership in Murray that had like 17 mazda 3's on their lot. Well something that really narrows down 17 Mazda 3's? Automatic. I COULD drive a stick but after some debating, we thought it would be safer in the winter for me to drive an automatic when I'm not practiced on a stick.

So I looked at and Ice Blue Mazda 3 that I fell in love with, but the price wasn't right for me. Instead of wasting my time, the dealer gave me the option of only one car on the lot that fit my budget. I fell in love with it the minute I drove it! It was SO much smoother than the silver one! Also, a year older, cheaper... it had a few more miles but WAY less problems!

So we sat down with the dealer to see what he could do for me. I highly suggest going on the last day of the month to buy a car because the sales are pushing. I also reccomend taking my papa with you because not only did he bond with the salesman (they're going golfing soon and they both played at Weber State so they know a lot of the same people) I'm sure which got us a better deal, but he got them to throw in free tinted windows! I don't know what I would do without my daddy!

So yes, it was a very successful trip Halloween! The night before, my family had a Halloween party that was LOADS of fun! We came dressed up, then took off our costumes to eat dinner and TONS of desserts! Then we filled the garage with pumpkin carving and chatting! After I got home from buying my car on Halloween night, I ended up going to Spencers with Em and Ben and we watched some of the Jazz game, had dinner and played some games! On Sunday, there was a special temple devotional at the Manti temple for my families stake so I got to baby sit kids! It was SO much fun! I love that I am getting to know some of my neices and nephews that I haven't been around very much in the past!

I'll post pictures soon and hopefully I'll be posting about some new neices and a nephew that are on their way any day now!

So tonight all the co-chairs in my ward have a meeting with the Stake Presidency, just to make sure we're all on top of what we need to be doing and things like that. Did I mention I got a calling? Yeah, I'm on the Prepardness and Welfare council... or something like that. Actually I'm a co-chair. I guess that if I forgot to mention I have a calling, I also forgot to mention that my co-chair and I... dated a little bit. A couple weeks ago. It was one of those things that you could sum up by saying "The candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long"... It was really good for a while. I guess really good is a term I would use... but probably not anyone else if you asked them. Like, my roommates, or my boss.... they weren't too fond of the situation. And by situation, I mean the way he treated me. I don't know why I keep getting into these things where I give 110% and they give like... 30%. You would think I would learn! I mean, he didn't do anything... horrible. But if you're kissing someone.... I kind of think that it should mean more than casual dating. ANYWAY....

Now we're co-chairs. Yes, the Bishop did this on purpose... with things he would say, it was VERY obvious that he wanted us to hook up. It's hard, ya know? It's easy when I'm not with him to act like all my feelings for him are gone and that what happened meant just as little to me as it did to him... but in all reality whenever we talk, even just text a little bit... I find that I still have feelings for him. What I'm confused about is that I don't know if these are FEELINGS, feelings or if it's just "I want to go out with you one last time so I get closure" feelings...
I guess I should tell my Bishop so maybe he could stop trying to set up unsuspecting, nice girls (aka: me) with a lame and disrespectful jackass... (Thanks for the words of encouragement Aubs!)

I guess I only feel this way when I am deep in thought about all of it. I need to stay away from the "Deep thoughts"!

P.S This song is on Carrie's new album that came out yesterday and it is AMAZING as always! :)

What Can I Say- Carrie Underwood feat. Sons of Sylvia
(Carrie) Piercing words, eyes are red
Watched your taillights in the rain
Empty heart filled with regret
I know we were both to blame

And I'm not sorry that it's over
But for the way we let it end
So I said all I had to say
In letters that I threw away

And you should know, please believe me
I've picked up the phone a thousand times
And tried to dial your number, but it's been so long
It's never easy, it's like tryin' to spin the world the other way
What Can I Say?'

(S.O.S) How did it come to this'
I think about you all the time
It's no excuse, but I wish
That I never made you cry

I'm not sorry that it's over
But for the way we let it end
I couldn't find the words to say

(Both) And you should know, please believe me
I've picked up the phone a thousand times
And tried to dial your number, but it's been so long
It's never easy, it's like tryin' to spin the world the other way
So what can I say' What can I say'
What can I say' What can I say'
(S.O.S)I hate to think all you had of me
Carrie (I said all I had to say)
(S.O.S) Is a memory I left you, pace between what was meant to be
Carrie (In letters that I threw away)
(S.O.S) And the mess that it turned into

(Carrie) And you should know, please believe me
( Both) I've picked up the phone a thousand times
And tried to dial your number, but it's been so long
It's never easy, it's like tryin' to spin the world the other way
It's like tryin' to spin the world the other way

What can I say' What can I say'

Growing Old is Getting Old- Silversun Pickups

So... lets talk about some of my new favorite things in life lately:

1. The Vampire Diaries- Why? Because hello... WHO would NOT want to watch two of the hottest guys on tv once a week?! Yes, Ian Somerhalder (aka: Damon) and Paul Wesley (aka: Stefan) I'm talking about you. Two beautiful creatures that have managed to make me ask... Edward, who? Oh yeah, and lets not forget the music quality of the show. It's almost hitting One Tree Hill's music standard on my radar and thats near impossible, so a pat on the back for you!

2- The Office- Why? Because if I had someone like Jim in my office... I would've dumped the warehouse guy a long time ago! Also, it gives me ideas. Stay tuned to see pictures of a man's computer desktop background turned pink and a stapler in green jello.

Josh, this is what you get for leaving me to deal with Steve by myself... for an ENTIRE week!

3- "Down" By Jay Sean- Have you heard it? Better yet... Have you seen him?

Yeah... he's brittish... and sexy. Well, here's the music video, see for yourself!

- Vanilla Soy Milk-

I know what you're all thinking.... EW! But recently I have discovered that whenever I eat a bowl of cereal with regular milk or drink chocolate milk... I end up having severe pains in my stomach. Not good. So I've decided to give Vanilla Soy Milk a try and you know what? It's actually pretty good! I even bought Soy ice cream!

It's not the BEST but it's ok... I've had random thoughts about trying out a vegetarian lifestyle (because.. lets face it, I'm not a big meat eater anyway) so I thought I should get use to the taste.

5. I'm in the market for a new car! This should be an exciting time of life, right? Wrong! It is completely stressing me out!

I'm young! I don't want to have to owe TONS of money on a loan... So I've been weighing my pros and cons...

Cons:

* A lot of money I should be using to go back to school

* I'll have to get on a budget

* I'm still paying off my stupid Mac computer that was probably a waste of money for me to get because I ended up cracking the screen anyway. Even though it still works... Anyone know how to fix a Mac?

Pros:

*I'm young, not married and no other bills than paying off my Mac computer. So I should purchase it while I still only have to think about me.

* My car is going to break down any day I fear... and that will NOT be a happy day!

* I have good credit

*Because I don't want to get married for a couple years, I'll still have time to save a little here and a little there for school

* I have an amazing job that is teaching me a lot. And it's even more awesome when I think about how I may want to go into the field I'm being taught about right now.

Hmmm... Then there is always the option to lease a car. That way, I get a newer model for about 4 years and at the end I can either purchase, or lease a new one. But then I would have to be careful about going over 12,000 miles a year.... UGH!

Whatever happened to being a kid and just wanting to choose the kind of bike you wanted? I can tell you now... mine would be High School Musical. See how easy that was?

Well until I decide on what to do, I guess I can only day dream about cars that I will NEVER EVER be able to afford, but that I would die to own!

Ahhh... wouldn't it be nice to have money?

6- My girl Cambree!!! I truly do not know where I would be in life without her around!

Friday night, Cambree came to stay with me at my apartment. It was honestly one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time! Dinner @ McDonalds, Almost swimming... Watching Enchanted, Coloring in a Barbie coloring book I bought here (where the mask from above comes from) and shopping for snacks!

Then my mama and pops picked us up and we went to the hospital to see her mama and chill.
The boys all went golfing and it was fun to have a relaxing girls day where we just got to talk and laugh and play with Cambree.

That night, after my parents dropped me off, my dad got out to give me a hug and he said "I really miss having you around the house... I love you"
Of course this brought tears to my eyes!

So they drove away and I went into my apartment where my roommates were gone and walked into my bedroom where Cambree had been earlier that morning, all alone.... and I got the biggest feeling of homesick-ness that I've had in a LONG time.

So I'm going to take a break from city life to spend the weekend at home, with my family! Of course... My daddy is probably going to take me car shopping up here on Saturday but still, it's the family part that counts! :)
