When it isn't like it should be...

So first of all, I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed with the boys of American Idol Tuesday night. David Archuleta was the best performance of the night for sure but I still didn't see anything that stood out to me in any of the performances. I do have to say that out of all of them I really like David Cook and Jason Castro just needs to cut his hair and get rid of the dreads and he would be gorgeous!
As for the girls, I liked Alaina Whitaker. I think she is a cute little clone of Carrie Underwood! I also thought Brooke White and Carly Smithson both sounded ok and chose good songs. But my favorite performance of the night would have to be Aisa'h Epperson. I mean the song might have been a little too big for her but comeon, she pulled that off sick! I really like her! I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out who the top 12 are going to be this year.

Second, One Tree Hill Tuesday night was weird. I'm so sick of them just making us hang on (Even though I already know a lot of what is going to happen this season!) I really don't like Lindsay but after last night I felt bad for her cuz Peyton was a B* to her. But it's not like Peyton has never had a parent die, let alone from cancer, she's had two parents die. Although, I kind of want Peyton and Lindsay to be friends now. I want Lucas to see that Peyton isn't really the jealous insecure person that she has been acting around him, now that he has Lindsay. Lucas is acting like a creep though. He doesn't love Lindsay like he thinks he does. The only reason he purposed to her is because she found the ring he used to purpose to Peyton. He just needs to get rid of that. And Ps. she totally looks partially like a man. He and Peyton are mean't to be together and you know it's totally one of those shows where you just know they were made for each other from the start! Brooke however, I just don't know who she will end up with!

And the whole nanny Carrie thing is so gross, I can't even talk about it. Dude, Nathan is married and she just needs to get over that and Haley needs to stop being so blind.

But Jamie is the cutest little boy I have ever seen in my entire life! My roommate and I are in love with him and I want a kid just like him!

So I'm a little disappointed today. We have just remodled here at the bank and I like the tile and the carpet. It's this pretty brown color and the walls are tan and over all they did a pretty good job. Until they brought in the chairs that they recoverd with material and it looks like a mermaid threw up on them. It's this ugly ugly blue and it clashes so bad. Everyone hates it but the big guys at the bank wont let us pick a different color.

I've been thinking about my favorite quote by EE Cummings "To be nobody but yourself in a world that is fighting night and day to make you somebody else, means to fight the hardest fight any human being can fight... and NEVER stop fighting."
You know, that is so true. That is all this world is these days. You have to be the most beautiful, smart, successful, wealthy, spiritual, nicest car and house having person. You can't just be yourself to be accepted. I hate this rule. I'm trying to break this rule. I'm trying to just accept people ya know? Find the good in them. Find the things you have in common with them despite your differences. Well it was just a thought. Later

Ok, so most of you know that ONE TREE HILL is my favorite t.v. show. It's a really weird story about why, but I'm going to tell it anyway. When I was a sophmore in highschool, my sister was having a baby and because she has cystic fibrosis, she had a lot of complications. My parents were at the hospital with her and her husband a lot and I was left home alone to go to school and take care of myself. Feeling so alone and scared because of what was happening to my sister, I needed something to fill that void. One Tree Hill is what filled that void for me. That was the year One Tree Hill started and I had watched it before and because I was in love with Chad Michael Murray I even taped some episodes. So while I was alone at that time in my life, I watched those episodes over and over. I found the hidden meanings and I came to know these characters as people, not just t.v. show icons. I downloaded music which was played on the show (some of my favorite music to this day) and I felt a connection with something. It sounds so cliche, I know! Anyway, to this day I still feel that connection. I think it's funny because now my friends are starting to get into this show that has gotten me through some pretty hard times and that I have grown up with. Sometimes I hate having to share it with them. But at the same time I love that it is a bond we all share that brings us closer together. Still no one in the world knows as much about this show as I do!
So that said, I want to explain why I posted this clip. This clip is taken from season 5 episode 5. I don't know how many of you have watched ONE TREE HILL, but if you have I have to confess that Lucas and Brooke has always been my first favorite couple! But Lucas and Peyton have always had this connection that in season 4 was portrayed beautifully and emotionally. I have now become a big fan of them being together. Although this is their break up scene, I believe it is one of the most beautiful break up scenes that could ever be on television. The song in the back ground is Missy Higgens "Where I stood" and it is a wonderful, heartbreaking song. It is also on my playlist on the side bar. So if you have watched One Tree Hill, or even if you haven't.... I hope that you watch this clip because I believe you will see just a little bit of how amazing this show truly is! Later!!

Life

Hey. So I thought long and hard about whether or not I should create a blog. I mean most blogs I see are about families or parents and their growing kids. But then I realized that sometimes you just need to write. Just get the things written down that you have on your mind. Things that you don't necessarily want to actually talk about. So that's what I'm doing.
You know those days where you wake up and everything is going really good and you are just happy and on your way? And then something happens to change the course of your entire day? That's how today is. Everything was great. I mean it still is great but my thought pattern is on a whole different level than it was 30 minutes ago. It's something that I've been trying to get off my mind for over a year now and it came back out of the blue. It's nothing to freak out about.... it's nothing that serious... But it makes me remember what could've been.
I hate that. And sometimes my memories are more vivid than the events that happened. I guess really thinking about it, I wouldn't trade lifes experiences for anything. They made me the person I am today! Also, if I would've taken a different path than I did, I'm afraid things wouldn't have turned out the way they have!
So as you all can see I posted a play list. I strongly encourage you to all listen to the music! There are some great songs and I am pretty notorious for finding good music! I posted this song on there called "Life is beautiful". (It's also the title of my blog!) It's amazing!
I think when you are talking about music... there are two kinds of people. You know, the lyric people tend to be "analytical," you know, all about the meaning of the song. They're the ones you see with the CD insert out like five minutes after buying it, pouring over the lyrics... interpreting the heck out of everything. Then there's music people who could care less what the lyrics, just as long as it's got like, a good beat and you could dance to it. I don't know, sometimes it might be easier to be a music girl and not a lyric girl, but since I'm not, let me just say this: sometimes things find you when you need them to find you. I believe that. And for me, it's usually song lyrics.
So I'm in the middle of a really good life.... sometimes having a hard time when I think about the past and what shows up? A song called "Life Is Beautiful" by Vega4. And it just reminded me, you know what? It's going to be ok. In the middle of the snow (which by the way ... I'm in need of some spring!) and the school shootings and the earthquakes and the fires and the war and the heartache.... Life truly is beautiful! I mean we have so many wonderful things in life. We have music and books and movies (granted it's all about the kind you like) But it's true.
So the next time you are thinking about your problems or watching the news... which by the way is always depressing... Just turn on the song "Life Is Beautiful." It will seriously get the blood flowing in your veins!
Well Sorry this is so long! I'm just bored at work! But I better go! I have to go get ready to see my favorite niece and her parents and my parents tonight! Yahoo!!! Later people!
